I would like to express my sincere thanks to the hard working committee for inviting me to judge this show.
Also a special thanks to the two excellent stewards who were such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole of the day, very efficiently ensuring the smooth running and very pleasant atmosphere for all concerned.

Minor Puppy Dog (3)
1st Warrington’s Arminzeras King of the West to Woodavens (Imp Nor)
Strongly made puppy dog who has good ring presence: Level toppline, good front and was well handled
2nd Stewart’s Candidacasa Final Encore at Eskside
Not quite as strong in head as 1, but a very sound puppy. Correct front and level top-line both standing and on the move. Well handled and shown to advantage.
3rd Morris and Finlayson’s Finhamspride Kovu

Puppy Dog (1)
1st Holland’s Flatcharm Mr Brightside
A well made puppy who has considerable ring presence, moving with drive. Sound front construction maintaining a good level top-line throughout. Very well handled (Best Puppy)

Junior Dog (7)
1st Fox”s Satinbaze Cracksman for Blacktoft JW (AI)
A strong dog puppy, very well made, particularly pleasing head and front, good reach of neck. Very well handled and moved with drive
2nd Young’s Ballyriver Back to Basics
Nicely moulded head and gentle expression: Lovely reach of neck, sound construction and moved with drive
3rd Williams Wistaston Jet’s legacy (AI)
Yearling Dog (2)
1st Hewison’s Casblaidd Island in the Sky
Very pleasing young dog, moving with drive and making the most of the large ring, showing to advantage and at one with the handler
2nd McConnell’s Kazval Lugano at Torrweaving
Slightly larger build than 1. An impressive young dog, soundly constructed and moving with drive. Well handled to advantage.

Maiden Dog (3, 1)
1st Blair’s Pick Pocket
Very pleasing dog moving with drive, well constructed , nice firm top-line maintained both starting and on the move. Well handled
2nd Curtis’s  Tallistar All That Jazz
Slightly smaller in build than 1 but a very impressive dog. Soundly constructed and well handled throughout

1st Laird’s Islstrom Black Grouse of Daicheil
A very impressive dog both standing and on the move. Lovely classic head, not overdone, good reach of neck to well laid shoulders moved with drive and handled to advantage throughout
2nd Hewison’s Casblaidd Island in the Sky
3rd Joyce’s Stranfaer Get Over It JW
Post Graduate Dog (11, 2)
1st King’s Kingisla Glen Sligachan
A very well constructed mature dog who was well handled. Good classic head and pleasing gentle expression, sound firm top-line maintained throughout, good bend of stifle, shown in good coat and well presented. A pleasing picture
2nd Chipperfield and Higginbotham’s Islstrom All of a Storm at Howlingale
Another lovely dog , similar to 1 in many aspects. A nicely moulded head, good reach of neck excellent top-line throughout, very well handled and presented.
3rd Stevenson’s Plainfire’s the Captain of my Heart is Steelriver (Imp CHE)

Limit Dog (13, 2)
1st McCormick’s Steelriver Suns Up
A very well balanced dog, so soundly constructed and shown very well, moving with drive and making the most use of the ring (one of the best movers in the show) Very much at one with his handler RCC
2nd Buckey’s Buckleyhill Finava Legacy (AI)
Another impressive dog in this class, lovely head and kind expression, good reach of neck and excellent firm top-line (both standing and on the move). Should have promising future- very well handled
3rd Fox’s Blacktoft Mica’s Likes it Hot at Blacktoft JW (Imp SWE)

Open Dog (2)
1st Laird’s Seaheart Archibald of Daicheil ShCM
A very well balanced dog who has matured well and has considerable ring presence. Soundly constructed with a good front, excellent bone and correct top line. Moves with drive and was very well handled throughout
2nd Creasey and Gale’s Willowswind Orions Stars
Another very masculine dog who moved and showed well, pleasing head and expression, sound front and excellent topline, correct turn of stifle. Well handled

Veteran Dog (5)
1st Cullen’s Orkhatos Lucas at Auchinbreck ShCM
A very pleasing 8 year old, who obviously really enjoyed his day, pleasing head and expression, well constructed throughout, shown in excellent condition and handled to advantage (Best Veteran)
2nd Huyton’s Hopevalley Morning Madness at Hightyne
A 9 year old, well presented and shown in good condition, moved well throughout and handled to advantage
3rd Ross Downstream Face the Music JW

Special Open Liver Dog (2)

Very well presented dog, soundly constructed and moved with drive. Shown in firm condition and well handled (Best Liver)
2nd Campbell (Manson) Sylkienorrie Neepy Lantern
Very soundly constructed dog in good condition, moved with drive throughout

Champion Dog (3, 1)
1st Strudwick’s Sh Ch Downstream Fair and Square for Burpham JW ShCM
A very classic flatcoat in every way. Well bodied, good reach of neck, shown in excellent condition, presented a very pleasing picture for the breed- well handled to advantage throughout CC
2nd Holland’s Sh Ch Brightmoor Caught in the Act at Flatcharm (Imp)
Very close to 1 in many aspects, again a very balanced dog with many similar attributes, very well handled and shown to advantage

Minor Puppy Bitch (2)
1st Morris and Finlayson’s Finhamspride Sarafina
A very confident puppy who obviously enjoyed her time in the ring. Very feminine head, correct eye shape, should have promising future
2nd Thomson’s Caci’s the Dream Catcher at Badcall
Previous comments very much apply, just so much to like about their overall construction at this stage in their development- another who I would hope has a promising future

A very compact bitch- confident for her age, moving and showing well at this stage in her development. Love feminine head and expression, well handled to her advantage at all times
2nd Strudwicks Flatcharm Miss Lotsa Love for Burpham
A very pleasing bitch who moved with drive and presented a very pleasant picture in the ring, very well handled and presented
3rd Armstrong’s Candidacasa Strawberry

A very balanced young bitch who moved an showed well. Lovely feminine head with correct eye shape, good reach of neck, level topline both standing and on the move, well presented and handled.

A very pleasing bitch, very feminine head, correct eye shape, nicely balanced throughout moved very soundly and shown to advantage at all times.

A very pleasing bitch moved and showed well throughout. Soundly constructed throughout, handled to advantage.

Lovely puppy developing well at 9 months and I feel should have every chance of fulfilling her potential in the future

A very elegant bitch who is shown so closely to the breed standard, moving effortlessly across the rings is shown at full advantage at all times CC

Smaller bitch to 1 but so well balanced throughout and presents a very pleasing picture in the ring and handled to advantage at all times
